NYC Clean Streets Programs
The NYC Clean Streets Program is a two year initiative in which the Downtown Staten Island Council will manage a supplementary sanitation program for select areas of St.George. Because of our history of improving the area, the Downtown SI Council was one of the six chosen local development corporations to administer the NYC Clean Streets Program. 
At the foundation of any vital commercial corridor are clean streets, sidewalks, and storefronts. Join us in an effort to beautify our streets. Benefits: • Sidewalk sweeping/cleaning 5 days a week • Snow shoveling on the respective 5 days of cleaning • Trash collection • Increased foot traffic therefore increased business • Maintain a professional look and welcoming feel for your customers Program Areas covered: • Richmond Terrace/Bay Street from Hamilton Avenue to Victory Blvd • Stuyvesant Place from Wall Street to Bay Street • Hyatt Street • Lower Victory Blvd from Bay Street to St. Marks Place
